Basically, if you earn less than £16000 per year, you don't have fees to pay with them, but of course you have to live in UK.
As for the modern language degree, they can't teach you the language, as a foreign language needs to be practiced, radio, books, tv, and yes people!

I'm planning on studying with them next year, German and Spanish degree.
I reckon there are only the three major european languages available, but it would be very expensive to develop minor languages, there are other universities for that.
