Hello,
I finally got to track down the audio files for this version of Assimil's Russian. Now the problem is to find the accompanying book.
I've tried priceminister.com to no avail. Unfortunately, they don't serve North American customers (nor would I trade with them if they did; I'd hate to pay so much shipping from Europe). I found another source that might have it, but it's located in France, which brings up the shipping problem again.
Does anyone know of a way to get it from North America?
Thanks.

I had to get my copy of the German version (Russisch ohne Mühe) from a German seller; I found the book at booklooker.de. With shipping and the Euro -> Dollar conversion, it came out to about $30. Considering you don't have to purchase the audio, it's actually a fairly good deal.
I just took a look at booklooker.de, and it appears there aren't any copies available right now. While the 1958 copy has the same cover as mine, the page count is wrong; my copy has around 480 pages, whereas the '58 (and '51) version has 419.

You can download a copy from http://uztranslations.net.ru/?category=rusaudvid-russian&alt name=assimil_-_le_russe_sans_peine_russian_without_toil
You can also download the audio from the same site.
If you can't read Russian, select the English flag at the top of the page to see the page in English. Then you have to register. Then, all downloads are free.
I already have the 1951 English textbook and the 1971 German textbook so I didn't download the book (in French) but just downloaded the audio. I cleaned the tape noise with Goldwave. The results are great.

Hello,
I bought this book, but can't find the audio anywhere. The audio is no longer available at UZ Translations. There is an incomplete download available, but that is all.
Anyone know where I can get the audio for the 70's version of Russe Sans Peine?
Thanks

That's right last year Assimil demanded UZ Translations to remove all of their publications. See here:
