Again, everyone thanks for your input. It is really appreciated.
Dr. Arguelles,
I love the idea of the pattern. I never would have thought of it, but it seems so logical. Now, when you say write the first 10, then the first 20, and so on, do you mean, for example, to write each character X amount of times per line, or per page?
For example, do you mean:
Option A: [
你,你,你,你,你,你,你,你,你.......
你,你,你,你,你,你,你,你,你.......
你,你,你,你,你,你,你,你,你.......
]
or Option B: [
你,你,你,你,你,你,你,你,你.......
我,我,我,我,我,我,我,我,我.......
的,的,的,的,的,的,的,的,的.......
and so forth..
]
Thanks again,
Kevin Robles

Mr. Robles,
As long as you are still learning what might be called the basics of this writing system such as stroke order and the proportions of the finite number of graphemes that are recombined to form all the characters, then writing the same character over again many times can be quite helpful. Once you have that down, however, and you move on to the more demanding task of memorizing the variety of meanings of the more common or basic characters, I think that you might find it more productive and more enjoyable to move on to a pattern more like:
一乙丁七乃九了二人入
一乙丁七乃九了二人入八刀力十卜又三上丈下
一乙丁七乃九了二人入八刀力十卜又三上丈下 丸久也于亡凡刃千口土
etc.
As you go along, you will probably also find it helpful to alternate saying the pronunciation with the meaning. In the meaning sequences, if you allow yourself to form a perhaps nonsensical but nonetheless evocative mnemonic chain, this can also be very helpful in remembering the entire sequence. For instance, the above suggests to me: "One of the 2nd and 4th of seven and nine complete as two people enter eight knives of power and ten divinations..."
As I wrote before, such a technique is useful for memorizing the 500 or so most common characters, but once you have them down, it will probably be preferable to switch to writing sentences and text fragments rather than trying to memorize isolated characters.
I hope this is clearer now?
Best regards,
Alexander Arguelles
