I have a book at home called "Two Against the Ice" and it is one of may favourite books because it tells an incredible true story. The author is Ejnar Mikkelsen and it was originally written in Danish. The original title is: Farlig tomandsfærd.
Now I have searched the net and can't seem to find it anywhere. The English version is prolific and available at every online bookstore.
Anyone have any tips for finding a foreign and (possibly) rare book?
I really would LOVE to sit down and read this story in the original Danish.

If you can't find it in an ordinary net-bookstore then maybe you can get a used copy, - search for "Farlig tomandsfærd" antikvarisk
It also exists as an audiobook: http://www.e17.dk/bog/DBB0023360

Received my book in the mail today, although many of the pages are oddly stuck together at the edges, (as though they were never seperate, only folded. It's very wierd) I think a sharp knife will have it good as new.
I'm very happy to have my book to start reading. I posted them AUD CASH and got my book no prob's so +1 for Svendborg Antikvariat, and +1 for Iversen.
Now I can read all about Iver Iversen på dansk.
Also Iversen, I had a look at that link to the audio book, but it appears it's only avaliable to loan on CD/cassette for the vision impaired, members of the library only.. At least that's what I gathered..?

This kind of binding is common with budget paperbacks from the 1960s and 1970s.
You just use a letter opener to cut the pages.
