I'm really liking the SRS and I'm kicking myself for not using it ten months earlier. For now, I'm adding up to 5 sentences in Japanese per day from my grammar book, mainly so I can focus on learning the kanji meanings (I'm on 500, but I really need to refresh my memory on about 350 of them.) For Korean, since my understanding is better, I'm mainly SRSing song lyrics, and it's actually more fun than I thought. I spent 25 minutes at school doing it (got done with a test early, so I went to the computer lab before my next class.)

And yeah, 5 new Korean dramas that I want to watch are premiering this and next week. (I'm already watching 8 dramas/variety shows as it is XD.)

For Japanese, I'm waiting for the last DVD of Berserk to get here through Netflix. I've already downloaded some of the Japanese manga for when I'm able to read Japanese. I'm partway through the NANA movie, but God, 30 minutes in and nothing has happened. I guess that's the problem trying to shove a manga's storyline into 2 hours.

I was at 500 kanji before I started using the SRS. I was putting 50-100 in a day so I could review them, but it's kicking my ass at the moment. I need to relearn some of them and don't do 100/day to add in. Aside from that, everything is the same, except I want to resume reading freely.

Finally, April is coming around, and it's really just the calm before the storm. Aside from two take home tests and a paper due in two weeks, I don't have very much school work to worry about.

Been watching a lot of dramas and variety shows in Korean, and gave up on WGM and FO2. I like Seohyun and Yonghwa, but the format of the show is boring. FO2, I like 4 of the participants, but after 4 episodes, the show isn't getting any better.

I decided to start from kanji 301 in RTK (I was at 515 or so.) I went through some of these too fast, and it shows, as I've failed the same ten cards on Anki 8 times a piece. I did delete all of my sentences in my Japanese deck, as I thought it was dumb of me to try and learn how to read characters before I know what the character(s) mean. I will continue to read in my grammar books though.

In Korean, the SRS is going great. I'm mainly adding song lyrics at the moment, some sentences out of a grammar book, and dictionary sentences (ones that I actually understand aside from the word I looked up.) With the dictionary, I just type in words I catch while watching dramas and pick out a sentence I like out of them, or at least a sentence I know I'll hear dozens of times in the future.

I'm still reading Kim Sam Soon, but for the last few pages, I haven't been able to even get the gist of a paragraph. I'll just keep reading a few pages a day and see where I end up at the end of the book. Then I'll reread it down the road, trying to understand even more of it.

I had read that 서현 was going to be on the new season of We Got Married. Apparently, there was somewhat of an outcry from the fans, though, that she was "too young to get married" (from what I read anyway).

I, too, have started adding lines from song lyrics and find that I rather like it. It allows me to learn the song lyrics and the definitions of the phrases at the same time. Win-win! :)

서현 is 18(20), so it is young, especially considering Korea. I watched three episodes, but nothing really happens in the show.

About the song lyrics, yeah, it's really helping me. I was singing T-ara's and Supernova's TTL earlier in the day walking in between classes.

Still SRSing music lyrics. Epik High and Outsider are great for this project I'm doing. Today is really a lost day, but I did a little bit in both languages. Secret's Magic MV came out and it's on repeat for me.

Same old same old. I met a Korean who wants to be pen pals through postal mail. We're both going to write an English and Korean letter just so it's easier for both of us. I did have pen pals late last year over email, but all of them stopped sending email around the time for Korea's college entrance exams and they never started emailing me again.

As for Japanese, I'm aiming to be done with RTK by the end of May. The only bad thing is that the SRS is giving me a lot of reviews everyday, so I had to put a limit of 100.

Hm, last night after that post, I wrote my pen pal the letter and it surprised me how little I had to look up. I'm sure some things are wrong, but still. I also chatted on Shared Talk and one of my friends said that my Korean is better since the last time we last chatted, so that's always good news.

Today, T-ara's Breaking Heart finally got here (ordered it two weeks ago) and that baseball season started today, so I don't think I'll be doing much.
