I grabbed episode 1 of IY2, but haven't watched it yet. I'll probably wuss out and wait for subbed versions (KBS World or fansubbed) before I start, though. That reminds me...I keep saying I need to go grab all the unsubbed videos for IY1 and rewatch that show unsubbed, but I never actually do it. :-/

I can't even remember the last time I watched something subbed haha. I'm sure SSF will sub it, since there's 2 SNSD members in it.

Yeah, I was assuming they would since they did so for IY1 up until Yuri and Sunny left. Other than the Japanese special (which I watched Soshi-subbed), I watched the KBS World version of IY1.

Oddly enough, I've actually started watching *more* subbed material lately. In particular, I have a video queue now called "Subbed Rewatch" which contains items that I originally watched (often countless times) unsubbed and now finally have obtained a subbed version. Watching the subbed version of something you have seen numerous times before can be very eye opening as you realize that certain scenes didn't have quite the context you thought they did at the time. I finally watched the Soshi-subbed version of the 놀러와 2009 Girls Awards show the other day (the one with SNSD+KARA) and picked up quite a bit that I had missed in the unsubbed passes. I'm also starting my way through rewatching T-ara Dreamgirls (this time with Diadem subs).

For shows like IY1 and Running Man, I'm trying to do the opposite. The idea is to obtain the unsubbed versions (after having watched the subbed ones first), then limit myself to only watching the unsubbed copy if/when I rewatch an episode (which I do fairly often for some shows) since I already know the gist of what is going on from my subbed pass. I need to grab unsubbed copies of a few Happy Together episodes that I frequently rewatch as well. Rewatching the subbed versions is doing me no good (or at least isn't *as* beneficial).

Oh, watching things subbed makes me crazy. I tend to block out the Korean and focus on the English subtitles.

Doing the usual, and translating more for one of my tumblogs.

Initially, so did I. However recently I've found myself occasionally doing almost the exact opposite (where I'm paying so much attention to the Korean that I forget to even look at the English subtitles). It doesn't happen constantly, but it does happen a fair bit.

Been watching Japanese and Korean dramas and playing Japanese games. Nothing else that's really different.

I'll start writing in Korean more on Twitter just for you lol.

I'm also going to do the team TAC for 2012. So far I'm up for two teams, but I'll have to go double check to see if people can be in two teams.

Oh yeah, translated a news article for Tiara Diadem last night since their main news translator didn't have access to the internet.
