When I was in Sweden last month, I bought three easy reading (lättläst) books that I loved. Reading these books has really helped me advance in Swedish. Unfortunately I now wish I had bought more. Does anyone know any sites that offer books in Swedish (especially lättläst) for sale and also will ship to the US? It seems like many sites don't offer to ship to the US at all due to customs issues.

Have you look in amazon.com
I get my Swedish books from amazon.de I don't know if you get some at amazon.com But you can buy from amazon.de, you have to pay extra for shipping. (14 Euro) I don't know where you live, but you can go to the next bookshop and ask for Swedisch books. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I found the centrum för lättläst. (http://www.lattlast.se/?page=568)
They have a shop. I can't find anything about the us. Maybe you find something. Or write a mail and ask for shipping costs to the US. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Bokus deliver abroad. However, right now their website says this:
Temporarily we don't deliver to the United States of America! The American customs return our shipments despite the requested and correct export documentation. Due to the complicated procedures and the costs involved we are no longer able to offer this service to customers in the US. As soon as the problems are solved we will start making deliveries to the United States of America again. Thank you for your understanding. 1 person has voted this message useful |
