Oh, God, I should not read this before having breakfast as I get so hungry!! When I was young I loved to cook, used to serve 6 course dinners to my friends,and I have more than 100 cooking books. When I got married, my cousin said to my husband that the one thing he envied him was my cooking. After 15 years of kids who scream blue murder when they get anything but pizza, pasta and sausages, and a husband who thinks spending time on cooking is a waste of time, I feel I can barely boil potatoes. :-)

Normally, I like to cook together with my friends or other people in general, but the reality of my single life is that I most of the time I have to cook alone for myself. Therefore I am very glad that I can share my language-cooking activities with some inspired readers of my log, this gives me a lot of motivation to continue. It's a pity, if other people tell you that cooking is a waste of time, please read some cooking websites in the internet (or watch German TV with all its cooking shows) then you know for sure that it is not. I skipped lunch today but then made the big mistake of sneaking a peak at the forum in my mid-afternoon break. Now my mouth is watering! If only I could click on these wonderful photos and recipes and have them re-materialise on my desk...die sehen ja so lecker aus! :)

PASTA INTEGRALE (= Vollkornnudeln) CON POMODORI E ZUCCHINI Oggi vorrei cucinare un piatto facilissimo! Gli ingredienti: - 300-400 g di pasta integrale - 200 g di pomodori (ho comprato 5 grandi pomodori) - 2 zucchini - 1 cipolla grande - 1 spicchio d'aglio - 1 rametto di basilico - 4 cucchiai di olio di oliva extravergine - parmigiano grateggiato - sale e pepe Buon successo ed a pronto!
