I was hoping to purchase the dvd set of إفتح يا سمسم - IFTAH YA SIM SIM (sesame street in formal arabic)
I found several sites that have it but this site http://www.24arabia.com/shop/iftahyasimsim157316011578158116 1015751587160515871605-p-1034.html appears to be the original version. Just wondering if you went ahead with the purchase?

nah, I didn't. I heard that the DVD's were cheap bootlegs and really poor quality. The stuff on you tube is probably ripped right off those DVD's!

Ah k, good thing someone told you that before you took the plunge!
Some articles from last year say they are planning to remake the series (or maybe they've already started I'm not sure). I hope it's in fusha/MSA like the original series. 1 person has voted this message useful |
