Many sites including this one, have been the victim of an attack that lets some users see some javascript spam links. I will remove them on Sunday, it's a long work which I've had to do 2 years ago already, and it being Christmas, I don't have an opportunity to fix it sooner. Please excuse any disruption you may experience in the meanwhile.
Thank you

For Firefox users, you can utilize http://noscript.net/ to prevent this.

I noticed another problem. Sometimes I find it very difficult to browse the forum. The page does appear, but only the top of it. The title and sections names etc. but not the thread itself. Sometimes I can browse it in FireFox or Google Chrome, but in others I can't.

I'm having the same problem as well, the top of the page loads and maybe one or two of the posts and then nothing.
I wonder is it related to the javascript attack?

I had that "title only" problem earlier today, but now I can see everything that I'm supposed to see.

I filtered out the nasty bit and am working to get rid of the help. Please let me know if you experience any functional problem besides seeing the links when clicking "Quote".

I had the same problem with this site and with yahoo and a few others.
Try this:
Go to TOOLS, select AD-ONS, find RealPlayer Browser Record Plug-in and disable it. You will then have to close all running copies of Firefox and then re-open it.
That worked for me.

It seems to me you ran some kind of regex search&replace routine, which messed up text formatted in bold. Look at any post prior to this problem and it looks like this: strong>in bold(/B) but square brackets naturally
