I'll attempt it in Korean :)

Now it's difficult to say how much of this reflects my own pronounciation. The two "w"s aren't the same as
Finnish "v" and we do have this phoneme in Finnish as an allophone to "v", even though we don't use it in writing.

Hi! Where do we have [w] as an allophone in Finnish? Yes it does exist as free-variant allophone, but so does [ʁ] ("french r") and many others. There's for me a great difference between complementary and free-variant allophones because the latter are, if not limiteless, very numerous in any language.

I know this is an old thread now, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned that "shepherd" ought to be spelled (and pronounced, as far as I know) that way, rather than "shepard." This might make a difference to transcription in a foreign language...

In Romanian:

Dă cuic braun fadăr djamps ăuvăr dă leizi șepărd dog, uailst iting lemăn ceaclet uit stăuns. Ă iang leidi iz singhing in dă ciărci neau, stending niăr ă largi uindău, oldău și cant bi badărd tu riălaiz it.

I'm not sure about some sounds though...

This seems very fun, so I'll try Greenlandic! XD :D

becomes

Di kuik bravn fafa tjams owa di lasi sibad dok, vals iiding liimorn tjokolat vid stownes. A yorng laadi is sengeng
en di tjautj naw, standeng nir a laars vindow, oorldow si kant bii bofed tu rialais it.

That's the best I can do, 'cause I think it's a bit hard to find the "right letters" matching the sounds.
- Especially when there are no additional letters in Greenlandic.
But I hope it's OK. :D

This is my best attempt at Malayalam:

Da kvik brauṇ fāda* jaṃps ōva da leysi ṣeppaḍ ḍōg, vailst īttiṅṅ lemaṇ
cōkḷett vit stōṇs. E yaṅṅ leyḍi is siṅṅiṅṅ in da cācc nau,
stēntiṅṅ niyar e lāj vintō, ōḷdō ṣī kāṇṭ bī bōdaḍ ṭu ṟiyalais
itt.

The fact that Malayalam has an alveolar plosive ([t]) gives it an edge over almost all
other Indian languages for this sort of thing (they have to use retroflexes).

*Strictly speaking, this "f" is an aspirated "ph", but these days it can stand for
either one ("ph" in Sanskrit borrowings and "f" in English borrowings, although some
people seem to get confused and pronounce it as "f" in Sanskrit words as well).
