I have started Michel Thomas' Spanish foundation course and am quite pleased with his style of teaching and my progress so far. I have heard some criticism aimed towards Thomas' accent and the negative impact this has on his students accent. Could anyone recommend an additional program to study alongside Thomas with the primary aim of aquiring a good Spanish accent?
Thanks

Your best bet would be native material, especially music/radio.
My accent is a mix between Daddy Yankee, and Tego Calderón, because that's what I had access to (through MTV and youtube)
My accent is predominatly Puerto Rican :D

I recommend using Pimsleur (yes, it's slow, but you get a decent accent), and after you have a good understanding, TV and Radio (I listen to Radio Mitre in Argentina and watch Telesur from Venezuela - this last one is basicly far-leftist propaganda, but it is free - to improve my accent)

My Colombian fiancee makes fun of me for learning "Puerto Rican" because I listen to a lot of Wisin y Yandel and Alexis y Fido, etc. Lol

A while ago, I found this page. It seems pretty decent, I think.Goes into all the sounds and how they're pronounced, my only complaint is that it's not really in a very logical order.
If you want, I would check the Wikipedia page on Spanish pronunciation as well (if you trust it). Also, listen to natives and compare their pronunciation with your own.
Strangely enough, I got my accent imitating FSI to a certain degree, though I don't combine vowels as much as I'm supposed to.
