I never said I had a problem with people having a distinct culture and heritage. All I
said was I fail to see why anybody would want to study Welsh, Chitrali, etc. I myself
have learned quite a bit of Chitrali over the years, even though there is really no point
in doing so; I just did it for fun. I even know a smattering of Punjabi. Similarly, if
somebody were to learn Welsh for fun, who would I be to criticize them and tell them it
was only good for eavesdropping?
