Hi,

A few questions from FSI programmatic.
Notice that i did try to answer these questions, but
i find it necessary to have to correct answer in hand to see
if i am missing any keypoint grammar in here.

how would you say the following in Spanish:

*note - i don't have a Spanish keyboard

I don't know. I don't understand that.
(No se. No entiendo ese)
I know the exercise
(Yo se el ejercicio)
I don't know it (exercise)
(No lo-se)
I thought it was easy.
(Creia era facil)
i thought it was something much more difficult.
(creia era algo mucho mas dificil).

Chao

probably better: "No entiendo eso." But it depends on the context.

Quote:

I know the exercise
(Yo se el ejercicio)

maybe: "Conozco el ejercicio"?

"No lo se." or (related to the previous one): "No lo conozco". Depending on the context.

Creía QUE era fácil.

Quote:

(creia era algo mucho mas dificil).

same thing: Creía QUE era algo mucho más difícil.

...and writing Spanish accents IS possible on any ordinary keyboard, you just have to figure out how. A bit more difficult with the ñ and the upside-down ? and !, but it's possible on all normal computers in 2010.

they are using the present progressive in unit 12, but we haven't been taught it yet. Except for the one time: La que baila con jose.

Are you planning to leave tomorrow also?

piensando salir manaña tambien?
O
piensa salir manaña tambien?

Yes, at times a person (i. e. 'one') can say that.
si, a veces una persona se puede decir eso.
When can you (i. e. 'a person') say that in Spanish?
?Cuando se puede decir eso en español¿
44. How do you say 'Come here! '? 42. You say ¡Venga aca!
como se dice COME HERE? se dice ¡Venga aca!

So-so. Can you study tonight? (esta-noche)
-----Study what?

how would you say study what?
