Has anyone ordered newspapers from mymagstore.com? Supposedly you can order reproductions of foreign papers for around $5 each.

Please do. Sounds very interesting.
Sadly they don't seem to carry magazines in other languages. Have you been able to find any?

Seems like the only non-West European magazines they have are fashion ones.
They don't have Der Spiegel either.
I'd really love to find a way to purchase Russian, Japanese and German cultural and literary magazines.
Once you let us know how the newspaper order went, I'll order some of those. Which ones did you choose?

Hi Juan,
For Der Spiegel, Focus, Chip, Stern and other German magazines, I have been purchasing them for under $2 each from this seller. You can purchase them on-line or send her an e-mail, let her know which issues you need and she will send them. I recently got 2 new issues of Spiegel, Stern, Focus and Chip for $20 (shipping included). She also offers cheap subscriptions:
E-bay German Magazine Seller

Just got the newspapers and they are awesome! I dare say that they are nicer that the original newspaper. One warning = they are huge. They are printed on 11" x 17" white paper, printed on both sides and stapled in the corner. The quality is really good and at least for me, they are easier to read than a regular newspaper.
This service would be really awesome for people studying some of the less-commmon languages where resources are hard to come by.
