I have some recommendations for traditional Chinese music. These songs feature

It comes from a TV adaption of 水浒传 which is acknowledged as one of the 4 greatest
classical novels of Chinese literature.

This is a purely instrumental version of 'One Night in Beijing' aka 北京一夜. There are
obviously no words but it is an awesome rendition nonetheless.

You know how some Chinese who got sick of taking English tests wanted to make it mandatory for English speaking folks to take HSK, and they want to put Jay Chou's songs on the listening section? Of course that's a joke, but you get the idea.

If by Chinese traditional music you mean folklores, you could check out Song Zuying, Peng Liyuan, Jiang Dawei, and... sorry I don't have the rest of them on top of my mind.
But I should probably warn you that these songs sometimes get political.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've found this beautiful song with subtitles. The lyrics seem to be so simple that I could even understand (I guess and hope) part of the song.

Lol, I haven't heard that one before, but her songs are generally good. I personally would prefer some other songs she did, but I wouldn't mention them here since we probably have different tastes.
