A year or so ago I was in the middle of a Pimsleur Russian lesson when my friend's mom called me and was talking in Hebrew. After a couple minutes she started asking me about my ethnic background, which I found kind of strange. I asked her why she is posing this question, and she said because I speak Hebrew like a new immigrant from Russia.
I find that when I have to switch languages, the accent of the language I was previously speaking carries over a bit into the new language. I'm pretty sure that this is a temporary problem, and when I reach a more advanced level in my target languages I will be able to easily separate them.

In Brussels once, I was speaking French with someone who said "So where are you from, Holland?". So maybe I have a Dutch accent when I speak French :)
