It's good to read about your progress.
For Japanese I can also recommend the free PC game "Knuckles in Chinaland", which is
combining Sonic the Hedgehog with vocabulary-learning (or Kana / Kanji learning). It is
possible to learn any language this way if you enter your own vocabulary, and I played it
for a while when I needed to learn Lithuanian intensively, but the game already includes
Japanese (and a few other language files; the German one contains quite a few mistakes
though).
Get it from http://www.tbns.net/knuckles/

^ Thanks for that, but I wasn't able to find a place on the site to download it. Is it just me? Or do none of the links of
the site work?

Update - I'm going to only be updated every few days, since I feel everyday might be a little much.
I've been quite busy so not much done, only done some Latin, and extreme minimal Japanese which is unnecessary
to even name how little!
Latin
- Learnt ~60 new vocab words
- Lesson 8 & 9 of the course, trying to get used to grammar still!

Thanks for that, unfortunately my Mac is not allowing me to view it even with an 'exe' mac opening program.
Strange, I'll try and work something out.

Update
Latin
- New vocab + lesson 10
- Lesson about first declensions
Japanese
- First three lessons of Japanesepod101.com
JPOD is quite good, but I feel I'd get more out of doing Simplified Japanese more intensively, since it has more
content and can progress faster since it is without the people speaking / 'fillers'.
I won't be able to do anything this weekend (sat+sun) for reasons, but will start up doing JAP more regularly next
week!

Sorry for not updating for awhile, things have been pretty busy with very little time to study so done Latin lesson 11
and 12 of 101.
Started 201 and did the first couple of lessons.
I have so much to do for Latin review including vocab and the declensions/tenses, and need to start Japanese study
properly! It may not work out till after new years though unfortunately.
