How does the Living Language Ultimate German series compare to the old Assimil German without Toil course? I'm doing the Michel Thomas German course at the moment and trying to figure out a course to do afterwards.
I'm sure the lanugage in the Assimil course is more dated, but I'm mainly interested in old German literature and philosophy anyway. Does German without Toil cover about the same amount of material as Ultimate German Beginner-Advanced?
