You could survive on pizza and milkshakes - why eat and drink anything else?
You would probably also survive just listening to MTV - why watch anything else? And if you wash your clothes every weekend - where you are sitting at home anyway because the company of max. one person should be more than enough - you only need one complete suit. That way we would also get rid of all those pesky and noisy clothes shops (except one, which only would sell black clothes - one colour is enough). Write a book/newspaper article/essay/thesis/poetry/drama, act, sing, start a multilingual afternoon/evening in your area... as Arekkusu said, anything you can do with one language (whatever it is you're doing - as a hobby or professionally) you can do in other languages (or countries). 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

Activity holidays (sailing, climbing, skiing, canyoning, whatever) are always great fun. And it's even more of an adventure if you're in a foreign country hanging around with locals and speaking to them in their own language!

With one language, you are the same as a translator/interpreter who speaks 7 languages, but only with 1/7th of the people, and 1/7th of places and situations. 1 person has voted this message useful |
