Recently I've been using a GPS in my car to navigate outside the city. Besides its intended purpose, I enjoy using the various spoken language options. For certain languages there are even multiple dialects options. The Québécois French pronunciation on my model is quite entertaining. I love trying all the other languages as well.
The other interesting thing is how place names are pronounced. This is a minefield for the designers of the software. I've noticed many mistakes because the software is unable to properly determine the language of the name and to determine how it is pronounced locally. The results are usually quite funny.
I wonder if other people are seeing the same thing in their respective countries.

I was in a car recently with German GPS, and it appeared that the GPS was making grammar mistakes, like der instead of den for masculine singular accusative.
