The full name of this log is actually: "The Continuing Saga of German and French; featuring a few Minor Players
such as Italian, Mandarin Chinese, and perhaps Esperanto; and starring, as always, our Humble and Hardworking Heroine, Jinx." It's all true, too. Except maybe the "humble and hardworking" part. Anyway, this is my new log for TAC 2011, my second year doing the TAC and my first year doing it with a team! I'm awfully excited. Frankly, I don't know how much language-study I'll get done this year. It's going to be a pretty intense year. I'll be finishing up university, graduating, possibly traveling to France and Germany with my family in the summer, and hopefully moving to Germany for the foreseeable future, likely before the end of the year. This is all for now... it's Christmas Eve, and about time for bed. I'll "officially" start this log on January 1, and until then I will still primarily be found over at my other log, "TAC 2010: Jinx Succumbs to Glossophilia." Good night for now, and Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it (and also to those who don't celebrate it, but just like getting Christmas wishes!). it is great to hear you're heading to Germany. exciting times. i was following your 2010 tackle with

Hi Jinx. Good luck with German and French this year! It's fantastic to hear that you'll be moving to Germany by the end of this year - I will have moved there hopefully in a couple of years time, but until that I will just have to make do with regular trips there and to Austria. I will be following your log with great eagerness, I hope to see you write in German/French sometime. Maybe we could organise a team chat on Skype in French or German, or both? Just a suggestion.
