If the point of an international language is pragmatism, then Esperanto is the obvious choice because of the ease of the alphabet.

I voted for Esperanto over Japanese.
However, I agree with Fasulye and would be curious about what the results would be if the choice were between German and Esperanto.
I'd be even more interested in the results between English and Esperanto.
Most of all, I'd be curious to see how the results would be skewed if there were an option not to have a global language at all.
