Hi everyone!
I'll be doing immersion in France this spring and I'm having a hard time deciding on whether to sign up for a language school or not.
The course will start next week and will be until the end of may.. but there's only 280 hours of courses spread of 12 weeks for which I'll be paying 1700€ (!)
The school is supposed to be good and is a part of a university but I'm afraid it's going to be filled with a lot of nonsense.
I learn better on my own and my French is fairly good, speaking is what i mainly need to focus on... but as I'm quite introverted I'm not sure I'll be doing a lot of talking if I don't force my self to do it - if I'm taking classes I know that I'll be speaking a bit everyday..
Excuse me if my message is a bit confusing/unstructured, but I just want to hear if someone has any experience from language schools and can say if they think it was worth it.
Maybe it would be better to look for a job or try to meet a lot of French people?

Yes, it is better to find a place to live with local French people...
