I tried to search this but I couldn't exactly find an answer. Does anyone know any language courses that I can use to
learn Ukrainian? I know it is not one of the most studied Slavic languages, but I have this desire to learn it. The only thing that I was able to get was the Ukrainian Pimsleur course but that is about it. Actually now that I am on the topic of Slavic languages; What is the most studied one other than Russian? Two of the easiest-to-get courses would probably be Teach Yourself Ukrainian and Colloquial Ukrainian.

There are several others. Colloquial Ukrainian Teach Yourself Ukrainian Rozmovliaimo! (Let's Talk!): A Basic Ukrainian Course TeachYourself and Colloquial are written in the well known format and certainly worth using, I can't say anything about the Rozmovliaimo course. In addition to the above, there are also:
Modern Ukrainian Everyday Ukrainian Ukrainian for Speakers of English Ukrainian - Critical Language Series Ukrainian Language for Beginners (online course) See the Ukrainian profile on HTLAL, this survey by Prof. DeLossa and this handout from the University of Alberta for information or links to available courses on Ukrainian. I'm guessing that Polish would be the second-most studied Slavonic language not only because of the number of speakers (roughly 40 million) but because of the diaspora (think Polish schools for the children of Polish immigrants, and the heightened interest in the UK and Ireland for Polish because of the recent influx of Poles in the local workforce). 3 persons have voted this message useful | |||
