I've decided to keep a basic log to chart my progress learning Spanish vocabulary. I've been dabbling in this book over the past week and I thought I might as well try to learn the words instead of just looking at them. (This is not part of my TAC log.)
What I know: It's been too long so I'm starting again from scratch, word "1". I have only one book, Langenscheidt Grundwortschatz Spanish, with about 4,000 words devided in two sections. I'll be learnig 1-2,000. I prefer this book over other vocabulary learning programs because it's organised very well and.. I just like it. There's also great sentences for the words. That's why there aren't many words per page. The book is organized into themes. I'll starting with all words concerning "The Mensch" (person, man) and there's about 115 words in the first sub-section. Here's the plan: 1. Go through the words, make a small mark "O" (yay) or an "X" (nay) to keep track of my progress. 2. Start a new batch of words Hopefully with this log I can see what kind of progress I'm making.
