I am currently and for the next few weeks in Hong Kong. Since I'm learning Chinese (Mandarin though, not Cantonese) I thought I'll find lots of language books here. Well however I found that this is not the case and I even didn't find many book stores. The only good one I found was the Bookazine in Prince's Building. Most stores have either books written in Chinese or are all about business.
So could anyone reccomend one or more good book stores for a language learner? I am learning Mandarin with simplified chracaters (although I can read the traditionals too). And if you know any places that are better/cheaper but not in Hong Kong, please let me know. I want to go to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhongshan or something like that anyway. 1 person has voted this message useful |
