I'd suggest you have a look at these ones: http://www.raccontioltre.it/cat/poesie/poesie-sulla-natura/ The authors of these pieces are more or less ordinary people with a particular capability in writing poems. Some of these are nice pieces. Some aren't. This one is a collection of poems from professionals: http://www.sfonditalia.it/Poesie.htm#Campo You find there a mix of works from many famous authors, various ages and themes. Also, you find there lyrics of Italian well-known songs. These lyrics are considered as pieces of poetry. In my opinion they may be simpler than classic poems and, in some instance, equally beautiful. Simple poems aren't easy to find, because the structure SVO, Subject-Verb-Object, gets often altered, due to the fact that the author must obey rhythm rules. Poetry is a world of sensations, emotions, perceptions, feelings, dreams, desires. All these ingredients boil down into a narrow pot, melted in a sort of dreamlike water. In the end you may have something beautiful or something entangled and obscure. In few cases you'll have something simple. Inoltre ci trovi le parole di canzoni Italiane molto famose. Queste parole sono considerate brani poetici. Secondo me possono essere più semplici della poesie classiche e, in certi casi, egualmente belle. Non è facile trovare poesie semplici, perchè la struttura SVO, Soggetto-Verbo-Oggetto, viene spesso alterata a causa del fatto che l'autore deve obbedire alle regole del ritmo. La poesìa è un mondo di sensazioni, emozioni, percezioni, sentimenti, sogni, desideri. Tutti questi ingredienti bollono in una stretta pentola, disciolti in una specie di acqua onirica. Alla fine puoi avere qualcosa di bello o qualcosa di intrecciato e oscuro. In pochi casi avrai qualcosa di semplice. Gli Italiani stessi possono trovare difficoltà nel capire ciò che esce dalla pentola.
