My dialect of English has 24 consonants, 10 vowels and 9 diphthongs.

Consonants: p, b, t, d, k, g, tʃ, dʒ, f, v, θ, ð, s, z, ʃ, ʒ, h, m, n, ŋ, l, ɹ, w, j
Vowels: iː, ɪ, ɛ, æ, ɑː, ɑ̹ː, u:, ʌ, ə, ɚ
Diphthongs: ɛɪ, aɪ, oɪ, aʊ, oʊ, iɹ, eɹ, ɑɹ, oɹ

In my dialect, the vowel /ʊ/ has essentially become a stressed /ə/. And I consider the vowel + /ɹ/ combinations to be diphthongs, since the /ɹ/ is a semi-vocalic sound and there are only four vowels it can be paired with.

Alex, I'd be interested in a list of phonemes used in CF.
If you could go through it, that'd be cool :)

According to Swedish Wikipedia, Swedish has 35-36 phonemes. And I could perhaps add that Norwegian has 30-40; I guess it depends on dialect.
