I have used assimil for several languages and i was hoping to use it for chinese. I am still not sure about it though because i am learning Traditional Chinese. does any one know whether simplified or traditional is in this book?

Hello Pinappleboom, I personally have Assimil Chinese which I plan on using sometime in the summer and it
appears to be simplified chinese. Every lesson starts like any Assimil course with each dialogue having both
mandarin characters and pinyin and in the opposite page its English translation and its tonal pronunciation. Overall
it looks like an awesome course that can really help anyone learning Mandarin. Hope it helps.

Yes, it's a great course . . . and yes, it's simplified characters.
