Hey everybody, I started trying to watch this video about the mating dance of the male peacock spider, but got so distracted by the narrator's awesome accent that I can't finish the video until I know what it is. Please, anyone, help me out here?

Sounds like a German who learned English in school but has since moved to Australia, as many of his sounds are
getting better.

Southern German (I'm not sure, maybe Franconian?) and he's been in Australia for some time, would be my bet. But no more than 5€ on it.

Oh, of course! Thank you everybody! I feel like an idiot – I completely missed seeing his name and was assuming that he must be a native Australian, but then when I heard him speak I thought it might be South African or something... now that I listen to him again, the German accent is more obvious. Thanks, you guys. :)
