I always wondered how the would translate some Starbucks "chai tea" into Russian...

The literal translation to Persian would be "otaq-e chay", but I there might very well be a different expression.

I think TUrkish uss a borrowing from Persian Cayhane - tea house
So Cayhane would be Persian, چای خانه maybe this one, but i am not sure, I have found this on the Internet, I don't know Perisna so... but from my knowledge of Arabic, I am somewhat say it would be correct. but I don't know how is it used in Persian. 1 person has voted this message useful |
