I got an e-mail the other day announcing the opening of Amazon.es.
This could be useful for Spanish learners in Europe and, if you live in Spain, there's free shipping for orders over nineteen euros. It also has sections for the Catalan, Basque and Galician languages, but there's not much of a selection there at the moment. Early days perhaps.

Oh, yes, I've been waiting for that one! I'm a heavy consumer of Spanish-language books, especially Latin American literature, which is hard to get where I live!

Amazon.com already sells lots of Spanish-language books. What we desperately need are Amazon Israel, Amazon Arabic, and most of all, Amazon India.
Still, it is good news that they are expanding internationally.

Patuco, that is good new for me! I have just discovered www.amazon.de to order books in Germany and I now hope that they will make Spanish books as much accesible for people in Germany as English books from USA and the United Kingdom.
