Looks really good.Just joined memrise a few days ago to help acquire more Italian vocabulary.Really enjoy
the layout of the program and can already see myself spending a lot of time on there.I've found another great
language learning resource thanks to HTLAL.

I've really switched onto this lately and stopped with anki in the process.
It does seem to be working by and large, some useful words that wouldnt stick are doing so now.
One problem I have with it though is its so damn strict about doing things its way only, typing the kanji in a certain particular form, for one for instance (the best of smoething I think) you must type some form of 1~

Sometimes it cares and sometimes it seems not to. I've found examples of incorrect
vocabulary and had them fixed through the memrise forums: perhaps it's possible to get
these other anomalies fixed too?

I'm a curator for Japanese and Japanisch, so if you learn that language through English or German and need something fixed, shoot me a message.

I've been using memrise for a while now, I find it quite good!
I've completed a French vocab, Italian vocab and an intro Mandarin one. The only thing is that with so many course options, I find myself starting courses then leaving them unfinished.

I played around with it for a couple days. I should go back and try again. I didn't really like the kanji deck I was working with, but maybe the Spanish ones will be better.

EDIT: I went back and tried several different decks, but I guess this site just isn't for me. For some reason I find the little mems or whatever very annoying rather than being helpful. Just my personal experience, though.

Hopetea, this version of the site is just an ugly shade of what it used to be. It was
awesome but instead of fixing technical bugs and giving the users the features they asked
for, the staff made this. And I am one of the people who quit.

Now, I am building my own decks in Anki. It is slower to make them, there are no nice
flowers as a (perhaps stupid or childish but working) motivation tool, but I am free.
Noone will change anki under my hands to its own parody and expect me to welcome it.
Noone will make me unable to continue creating a deck the way I want it. Noone will tell
me how much to learn in one step.

What were the major changes? I just started using it again (I'm making my own decks as well) and I find the site
pretty good.
