Thanks guys, I didn't really go anywhere, just wasn't writing much. Time is not so much of a problem right now since I'm working freelance from home, and can more or less make my own hours. And when my energy level is very low I just graze a little in my language fields and do mostly review without writing about it.

I'm still going to learn some Polish this year, though!

Hey,

I recently found a great Polish show uploaded on YT. If anyone is interested in travel shows, I highly recommend it. The host is a great talker. It might be a great listening exercise because he uses very informal language often. It's called "Boso przez świat". Here's one episode. For more, check out the guy's channel who uploaded it.

A kindergarten has put up a few of the stories from Wakacje Mikołajka (Polish translation of Les Vacances du petit Nicolas). If any of you have enjoyed the original stories in French (or their translations to other languages), these should be just as fun to read in Polish.

Since the files are not in a "lossy" format like .mp3s or .wma, they're quite large and could take some time to download.

For anyone who has any lingering doubt about Prof. Swan's courses I recommend them highly drawing on having worked through the online version of "First-Year Polish" (which alas still has only half of the dialogues recorded), "Intermediate Polish" (never got the audio for this one) and "Beginning Slovak" (I paid a pretty penny for the book and cassettes but it was worth it when my choices for Slovak were limited).
