I'm starting to learn Persian from sratch for the following reasons:
1. It looks and sounds pretty. 2. My good friend began studying Persian a few months ago, and my other good friend, whom I asked a few days ago whether she would like to accompany me to Iran next year, replied with an emphatic "sure!" 3. My college decided to offer Persian classes starting this summer, and I took it as a nod from Fate. I'm not saying I will actually sign up for them, but who knows? 4. Iran seems to have produced some very interesting film directors and musicians. It should play an essential role in keeping me motivated. 5. I read Rumi and Hafiz in translation and was amazed by their love poems. A lot of their works were never translated... So, go team ɬ. Yay! A new team mate here :) I might just be scoping out how Persian goes for you to see if I
