I could read 6 more pages from ACC and now I'm going to start the second excerpt from Gamsaxurdia (I mean, tomorrow). I'm not saying I'm learning anything from it, but I'm not paying much attention to the horse-river specific vocabulary.

Reading Parlons has been a relief, it's a review but from a different source, so, not boring at all. Things start to make a little more sense. What I want the most now is to start using Tschenkéli's book, and for this I think I'm even going to overcome German again. I've got an extra copy at my tablet and will try to keep on typing the German quickly so as it gets translated. I can already figure a lot of grammar explanations from context, which is a good thing. After all, it's the Georgian that I need the most.

So, regarding a 2nd then a 3rd or 4th "wave" at Aronson's book, I'll leave it as a later option. I think I should focus on moving on to shorter excertps at ACC (even at poetry the excerpts are shorter) and thus I'll be able to pick translated works, for which I'm going to have a whole context to help me understand (like The Little Prince).

For some reason I can't google in the Georgian script. I first type the Georgian text at Google Translator, then I paste it at Google. All the results I get are in the latin script, I mean, even if the same page has the result in the Georgian script, that's not what Google is searching, it's searching as if I've typed the actual latin characters, not the Georgian.

I just found Lasha Bugadze's The Round Table in its original, right here:

The Round Table

The English Translation is at the book Contemporary Georgian Fiction.

Now I have to search for more, but I'm glad I'm going to read something from this century, as a billingual text!

One more found:

Real Beings

I think most can be found at lib.ge . In the case of Zaza Burchuladze, the story at Contemporary Georgian Fiction can't be found at lib.ge , at least as a guest. I wonder if there's extra info once you've created an account.

So try using Georgian google. And I know you can set google to only show results in
certain languages.

Why did they translate it as "skolko ti napisal(a)?" (How much did you write). Is that
some kind of euphemism for how much did you pee?? haha
