I'm back to Georgian after Easter. Still slowly gathering vocabulary, not much on grammar those days. When I'm done with book2, I'll pick another book for reading.

Good news is that I'm regularly talking to a Georgian penpal. I hope she adds me in FB so I can follow her timeline and learn some vocabulary.

book2 - Preparing a trip - მზადება მოგზაურობისთვის
I suppose მზადება მოგზაურობისთვის means preparation trip-for?

არაფერი უნდა დაგავიწყდეს!
Don't forget anything!

Literally "nothing must forget" (which verb form?). Is there a more natural, not rude way for saying that?

შარვლები, პერანგები, წინდები არ დაგრჩეს. Remember to take pants, shirts and socks.
At which tense is დაგრჩეს? Aorist?

I'm done with one more book2 lesson and finished Lesson 11 for the Familiarization Course (the latter had no doable exercises since they demanded the audio files which I don't have).

I can't wait to finish either one of them and move into another book!

Present Subjunctive

The present subjunctive represents the amount or usualness that a possible activity could take place in the presence or in the future. The subjunctive present tense verb expresses at the same screeve tense, mood and aspect. The present subjunctive is used in a limited set of conditions: in desired formulas (usually paired with the word netavi "if only", "i wish") and unrealistic conditions.

I got parts of Lehrbuch der Georgische Sprachen. It seems fairly more comprehensive than Kiziria's, after all we're speaking of 33 lessons, which means 33 dialogues, 20 more than Kiziria's 13. I still don't know if it will be practical to use it, let's see.

Speaking of which, I just stood up and went to my bookshelf to have a look at Beginner's Georgian. I think it's about time I refresh all the dialogues, to see how much I've actually learned. Won't bother with grammar and exercises again, will just practice real language which is what I need badly.

I couldn't study Georgian for the past two days (Thursday and Friday). Not in a good moment, I really hope the two materials I'm using end soon, so I can try something different.

მისდევ სპორტს? Do you exercise?
დიახ, მოძრაობა მჭირდება. Yes, I need some exercise.

მოძრაობა actually means 'movement'

გერმანული გუნდი ინგლისურს ეთამაშება. The German team is playing against the English one.
'ეთამაშება' is it formed from, the verb 'to play' through a preverb?
