I've just realized I do actually have the Georgian original of Teona Dolenjashvili's
short story in the English collection! It's called რეალური არსებები and it's in the anthology of the best short stories of 2010 (probably from the same series as you bought). The name of the anthology is 15 საუკეთესო ქართული მოთხრობა 2010. I have the book itself, but the anthology is available on lit.ge. Zaza Burchuladze seems like a pretty cool guy, and quite controversial, but I think his stuff is pretty hard to read. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Adjective declension is something annoying, also the one of the possessive adjectives. I don't know, it makes little sense. Too much work for something that won't imply any misunderstandings. Sometimes you have the -ი, sometimes the root, you have arhcaic forms with the -ს but all in all it's the case of the noun that matters.
These days have been a bit annoying as I try to finish ACC but there's still so much to read. As for EGS, I'm moving faster than expected. If I keep the rythm of two lessons a week, I'll be done with it around the middle of the year. Then I'll have a free slot for starting with native materials, if vocabulary allows me to do so. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I'm getting close to finishing ACC. The final sections on grammar before the appendixes cover deeply the use of თუ, რომ and ხომ in subordinate clauses. A section to refer back to whenever is necessary!

I've just read leson 17 about personal pronouns in EGS. It's 7 pages in a row in German about the Georgian grammar, and it took me a few minutes, with few words looked up. It seems both my German and my Georgian are finally going somewhere!
