Obrigado, Expugnator. Maybe it will be useful once I finish Assimil at a B1-B2ish level
(given that I manage to have conversations).

mele.

Svenska

Azi am avut prima lecția limbii română și tot a mers foarte bine, fără griji și
probleme.
vreau.

This morning I had my first Romanian lesson on Italki. It went pretty well - she told
me we'd skip the grammar because I already conjugate verbs and accord the adjectives, I
can write (which is true - I write a lot of Romanian, I just don't speak often at all)
and I'm happy to notice that I understood a very large amount of her speech in Romanian
as well (only complex topics force me to pay attention).

Hallo tarvos,

Was war nichts wert?

I cannot write the scharfes s, that is why I doubled the s.

Ensuite, il me demandait
"donc irlandais?"

In the past days, thesis stuff has taken up some of my time, but I have found time for
languages, and I have done the following:

- completed le Roumain until lesson 84 (passive), 35 (active)
- completed unit 6 of the Routledge course + review exercises.
- completed Unit 4 of Colloquial Icelandic.

Furthermore Le Chinois sans peine has come in. I do not plan to study it right now; no
time; but I do plan to obtain more Mandarin materials. But whichever language I choose
after I finish studying Romanian, Hebrew and Icelandic is dependent on what my mood
will be like then.

Possible options are BCMS, Mandarin, Malagasy and Serbian at this point in time. I'm
also considering buying the Dutch Assimil versions of Spanish and Portuguese.

I expect, however, that it will be possible to complete at least the Routledge course
and the Romanian passive wave before Russia.

On an Iversen-esque note; I also completed a green sheet for Icelandic noun declension,
and a "yellow sheet" that shows all conjugation paradigms for Romanian verbs (except
that of the trecut simplu because Assimil hasn't covered it yet, and also because it's
so rare). All other tenses are represented I believe.

Note that this uses the 4-group paradigms of verbs; -a, -ea, -e, -i(or î). Advanced
learners of Romanian will know that this isn't strictly good enough because of a)
irregular verbs, and b) because of certain verbs that have infixes in their present-
tense conjugation. These verbs are of the -a group (which infix -ez) and the -i group
(which infix -es(c).)
