The past couple days have involved mostly thesis work. However, I have gotten through a
number of things, including that I am now at lesson 91 of le Roumain (passive), 57 of
l'Hébreu sans peine, 73 of the Routledge course, and I have not done anything much with
my Icelandic.
I had a Romanian class today, in which we read Caragiale and worked on neuter nouns.
I plan to be done with the Routledge course and with the passive wave of le Roumain
before Russia, so some work is left to be done.

Because of some unforeseen personal circumstances, I have had a lot of sads the past day
and have been unable to work on my languages as wished. I will have time today
unexpectedly. So maybe there will be some updates.

Yeah, I'm more or less fine and functional. Not particularly happy, but you never are
when breakups happen. But this relationship didn't last long - so I'll live.

It's times like these when you may hear the all-too-nauseous but well-meaning truism from a close friend (or fan of The Streets): "mate...there's plenty more fish in the sea".
However, if you're a monoglot living in LA, you could be in real trouble. For this number may be much closer to a drastically reduced 39 fish in total.
So keep on amazing us with your feats of progress, which I dare say are in more languages than you'll ever find on the back of any packet of imported biscuits, as this will greatly increase your odds of finding fish number forty and well beyond.
I hope you're feeling happier soon, comrade.

I'll be fine, thanks for the encouragement.
To cheer you lot all up, here's a multilingual audio snippet of me speaking in 11 (ok,
10, but one line of Latin counts, right) languages! I warn you, some of these are
terrible! And some of these suffer from poor articulation (which is probably a bigger
issue for me than grammar is).
The list is, in order:
in order: Latin, English, French, German, Swedish, Icelandic, Russian, Romanian,
Hebrew, Breton, Dutch
Dutch
