Hello all,

I'm in the process of learning Spanish and I've been listening to the Notes in Spanish podcasts for quite a while. I've been considering purchasing the corresponding worksheets but the price is pretty steep for my budget right now. Just wondering whether anyone else has purchased them and what are your thoughts? Did you feel that they were worth the money?

I haven't bought notes in Spanish (I actually gave up on it when I realized that I was
picking up on the British guy's accent, not his Spanish wife's and it was making my
foreign accent stronger). I hope someone can advise you on that.

But I would say that http://www.spanishpodcast.org/podcasts/ is another podcast which is
recorded by a Spanish woman and where all the dialogues are available online for FREE.
She uses a lot of colloquial Spanish and useful phrases and talks about nearly everything
under the Spanish sun. I've found it a very useful resource.

I enjoy Notes in Spanish very much. However, I cannot rationalize spending the money to
buy the worksheets given the amount of free stuff there is on the internet. See e.g.
http://www.spanishpodcast.org/podcasts/ and http://albalearning.com/. Therefore, I just
listen without the benefit of the transcript.

I have used the worksheets and would recommend them, particularly at the beginner stage.

Okay, maybe I WILL reconsider and purchase them when I have more free $$$. Did you use them only for the beginners stage or for intermediate as well?

I have used some of the intermediate, but have sidetracked a bit to work on Assimil. I like these too and
will go back to them.

Okay, I may really give it more thought as I do love the podcasts. Thanks for your input!
