Can you please add this to the overview page, Serpent? 30 days - emk, Middle Egyptian, one Assimil lesson & Anki reviews Combined with my earlier 40-day goal, this makes 70 consecutive days of Egyptian. I plan to deliberately break the chain today, and spend more time on French. But overall, Egyptian has been lots of fun, and I've learned enough to satisfy my wanderlust for now. What's the future of Egyptian? I have at least 30 days of Anki reviews, and I plan to continue studying Assimil. Ideally, I'd like to do a couple of lessons per week. This is actually going to be another experiment: If I use Anki to review each lesson, can I learn Egyptian slowly, in fits and bursts? It's tempting to think that Anki might prevent me from forgetting the language when I'm not actively working on it. 3 persons have voted this message useful

Although I am using 2 distinct methods (1 of them has 2 variations), for both, I strictly limit it to groups of 5 at a time, and don't go on to another group until I know the current group, at least at some level (can write down the meaning of all 5 in both directions, for example, even if I forget some of them 10 minutes later).
