It's much more simple, and short-term goals are very much encouraged. You've taken a break with German for example... I actually am still using Assimil, but I don't want to put undue pressure on myself to do it every day. If time is tight I don't want the guilt if I have to drop it for a few days. But this JLPT reading book is so good. I actually really want to study with it every day anyway!
