Hej,
does anybody practise the 10 000 sentences method (or similar) for learning Swedish? Are there any frequency lists of words and phrases (I don't mean phrasebooks for tourists, as for me, they are almost useless) with usage? I found so far top 2000 words in Wiki (but they often don't have usage examples) and some other top word lists (without translation). I also try Erik Gunnemark' MiniPhrase and MiniLex (500 words) combined with Russian- Swedish and Swedish-Russian dictionaries (those have some examples). My first aim is to be able to read and write. My second aim is to watch and understand Parlamentet (I just want to know why people are laughing there) and espicially C/O Segemyhr (actually, I can already catch some jokes of this show). GU, Göteborgs Universitet, har en stor korpus som är tillgänglig för allmänheten, samt SAOB därtill! Jag tror de
kallar det för GU språkdata, där skall det i alla fall finnas ett flertal frekvensordlistor. https://svn.spraakdata.gu.se/sb-arkiv/pub/frekvens/stats_BLO GGMIX.txt är t.ex. en korpus över svenska bloggar ordnad efter frekvens! 4 persons have voted this message useful | |||

It's huge (200Mb), the filename is without space - https://svn.spraakdata.gu.se/sb-arkiv/pub/frekvens/stats_BLO GGMIX.txt There's no space between BLO and GGMIX, but it shows up again. Edited by fulushou3 on 07 April 2012 at 7:17pm 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
