I don't know but I hope so. The problem with the film is that Snape's voice is computer-edited - more suitable for a film about robots...

Could I do this challenge for my native language of Bulgarian? I'm definitely fluent and I know that this challenge is
for people who want to bring their language skills up to an intermediate level, but I've long been neglecting my reading ability in the language and I haven't really read anything substantial in Bulgarian ever as English language materials are substantially easier to find and gain access to. To top it off, I've been fully educated in the United States and so the practice with literature that native speakers would normally receive in their language is absent with me in Bulgarian. I'm hoping that this may give me the push to *gasp* cut down my wanderlust and focus on what I've been letting fester for far too long. Tell me what you think; can I do this or am I ruining the spirit of the super challenge? If you want I can ramp up the challenge to say 200 books instead of 100 books and 100 movies. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

You're higher than B1 in your native language, though?

How does Tadoku differ from this challenge? Sorry, I'm new to this whole challenges concept. And yea I would say
I'm at a native level in listening, speaking, and even writing I'd say (it flows as easily as speaking) but I want that extra push to polish up my reading which has fallen behind simply out of disuse. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Hmm, the Tadoku challenge sounds very interesting but I think that the super challenge matches my long term
goals in Bulgarian more closely. I want to back up my knowledge in Bulgarian with the weight of classical and modern literature and the expansive vocabulary and grammatical structures that come along with it rather than focus on skimming a couple of novels. I'm afraid that I'll have to miss the May 6 week challenge as I simply won't have the time to focus that much on language learning in the very near future. Danish for sure in the next 6WC! I am going to read them all in Spanish. And French and Italian. And German and Croatian. I have a lot of Harry Potter books. Over 100 of them by now, I think. I think I'm what they call a fanatic. Or maybe just crazy. :D And I hope to watch all the movies, too. Well, not in Croatian, since I don't think they dubbed them. But the rest. 2 persons have voted this message useful |
