As several people have pledged to write 100 little essays in their target language over the next 20 months,

Tell a brief fictional story.
I like making up stories, so I'm planning on writing a lot of very short fiction. I may also re-tell famous stories with my own twist, like the 200-word version of Red Riding Hood or Chicken Little. I found this one site a while ago with 12 pages of topics for an AP Spanish class.

Ah. I missed it because I thought the thread was strictly about 100 movies and books. "Essay" doesn't actually come up in the thread until page 6, and there's still no mention of what length the essay should be. Is it possible to just sign on for the essay portion of the challenge?
