I agree, I find them hard to manage, especially the lack of word 'million' in Japanese.
I can read articles in wikipedia using CJK, but I have to lookup the English version, to check the numbers -_-" Swahili: number of speakers: 40 man wait a minute... 40 man... that means ... 400 000, right? I am also discouraged by the fact that CEFR requires me to learn the months. months at A1? I don't need to know words like 'because' and 'if', but I am supposed to learn names of the months!? Fortunately I have realized that I already knew them in the language I was talking about - Lao! You don't need to learn anything - just say 'month one', 'month two' etc. but I am still left with days of the week :( I am sorry, may it's just somethin wrong with my reading skills, maybe A1 does not require this, and it actually requires 'because' and 'if', I don't know.
