I got 55%, B1 from a brief test at test.html">http://www.france-langue.com/online-french-test.h tml. I think B1 is about right for my
current
level, but as online tests can sometimes inflate your grade, I'd hoped for something better.

That was just over 6 months ago. I just did the test again and got 85%. That's C1 for their "20 questions".
That is the kind of grade inflation I was hoping for the first time through.

I skimmed through my log looking for gems to mine. All that I can say is, what a fascinating log and
comments. :)

I just wanted to throw together some notes on things I may want to come back to to see how the world looks
with newer eyes.

Overall, it's probably most effective to note if there is something significant left on the table, and how much
effort it is to clean, and whether the level seems right for now.

Probably too easy

It just crossed my mind this morning that I could use the "truncate silence" FSI recordings as a
listen/understand way to zip through FSI this first time through the second half of the course.

I always loved that kind of little mistakes that are very amusing: I immediatly see her in my mind's eye shaking her bette in her kitchen :)

Thank you for pointing that out. I may have confused Cousine Bette with Bête. Now I know bette is also a
beet and not simply a homophone with beast.
