Hello Everyone,
I am going to put together a list of several "Halloween" words for my blog. I have already started on the French and English lists. The words I need to translate are listed below. After I have the entire list made, I am going to put it on my blog for anyone to download. If you would like to contribute, that would be wonderful! Here is Czech translation. The problem is that Halloween doesn't have a tradition in Czech republic and is very, very recent import. There is no trick or treating, there are no jack-o-lanterns everywhere, no haunted houses.
The Czech tradition is All saints' day, when you visit the graves and bring flowers. Anyway, here you are. I have omitted few terms where I could translate but the underlying meaning remains foreign. I'll provide Polish translations but as in the Czech Republic, in Poland we have different tradition. We have All Saints Day and on the 2nd of November we celebrate Zaduszki (All Souls Day) by lighting candles for our deceased ones. These two days are dedicated to mourning and reminiscing.

Jenne, volgens mij wordt mummie met "ie" gespeld (in elk geval niet mummi met een i) (of
mummy, dat kan ook), en ik weet niet of een dwaallicht hetzelfde is als een Jack-o'- Lantern. Dwaallichten zijn toch foute lichtjes in een moeras, of is dat tegenwoordig niet meer zo? Eventueel zou je voor "lampion" kunnen kiezen, alhoewel dat meer klinkt als Sint-Maarten.
